Nicola W – Deal or no Deal winner
At one minute to midnight yesterday, Nicola W from Birmingham became our third biggest ever Deal or No Deal Jackpot winner! She banked a staggering £458,548!
“I’m still in shock. I’ve only told my Mother so far. I don’t know where to start. It’s not sunk in. I don’t think it really will!”

Nicola works part time in a local supermarket and lives with her Mother. She’s got a 15 month old boy and found out about the site after seeing the television advert.
“I’m going to spend it, but don’t know what on yet! I’ve been on holiday this year already, but only to Somerset. We’re thinking about Florida now!

It goes without saying that the 26 year old’s life has now dramatically changed, as she full well knows.
“I can afford my own house now. It’s certainly changed my life. I think I’m going to wake up and realise that it’s all a dream. I checked the Winner’s Page and saw that it was the third biggest ever – not bad for a “4 stake!”

Sarah C – Bingo 100′s Super Jackpot Winner

Last week Sarah C became one of the luckiest Bingo players of all time, winning a massive £30,000 Super Jackpot in the regular happy hour of Bingo 100 at Jackpotjoy! Family Fortunes!

Sarah only realised she had won the next morning, when the great news had sunk in.

“Thank you so much. It was surreal. I was on the phone to my Sister at the time. I told my partner too. It’s brilliant! I was ecstatic. I still am!”

Sarah revealed some great ways in which she’d be using her new mountain of cash.

“I am going to get myself a car and start learning to drive. I’m going to pay off some debts too. It’ll really come in handy.”

Sarah’s now looking forward to Jackpotjoy’s offer of a London treat – a night in a posh London hotel and some theatre tickets of her choice.

“I’ve only ever been to London once. I’ve never been able to see the city and take it in.”

The Super Jackpot Hour is held between 7pm and 8pm every Friday in Bingo 100 at Jackpotjoy. To follow in Sarah’s footsteps, play to win the Game and Progressive Jackpot. Then, the extra £30,000 will be yours!

My biggest win and worst on line bingo playing experience.

Posted by Trix @ 11:29 PM, Wednesday Aug 22nd, 2007

Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of winning what you and I would call big bucks; the most I have ever won in one game is five hundred pounds (not a sniff in the dark), not through want of trying though … I will keep giving it a bash and along with many other players hope today is my lucky day. I have to say it is exciting beyond belief to be in with a chance, one occasion I had the pleasure of waiting for one number for the big prize with at the time was thousands of pounds accumulated on the progressive jackpot, the thrill and the anticipation is better than chocolate, dare I even say it better than sex!!!

…I have had the pleasure of being in a chat room when the big one has been won and the players from the whole site came to congratulate the winner the whole experience was fabulous even the Chat Masters came along and wished the player well.

The atmosphere was electric and the whole site was buzzing. My worst experience playing on line bingo has to be once late at night I entered a room to play in noticing there was only 4people in the room I thought it had to be worth my 20p to play so I brought a ticket as the progressive jackpot was worth five thousand pounds.

Only when we start the game I notice I am the only one who brought a ticket playing against myself for the house prize of seventeen pence I won on 83 numbers called… W

as worth the 3p lost I have never laughed so much, it was hilarious my worse bingo playing experience ever but defiantly the funniest.

Lisa R – Bingo Gold Winner

Birmingham’s Lisa R is one of our most recent Bingo Gold winners, grabbing an impressive £32,222 playing the recently improved and re-launched game.

“I couldn’t believe it when I won. I still can’t believe it!”

The first person to hear Lisa’s amazing news was her friend, who already knew a thing or two about Jackpotjoy.

“I told my friend straight away. We met each other on the site in Chat. I introduced her to the site. It’s our hang out area, usually after work in the evening.”

After telling her story, Lisa got straight on to planning what she’ll be doing with her wad of cash.

“I’m a catering assistant and do lots of different work. I’m planning on taking my children abroad. We’re looking into visiting Majorca, just before they go back to school. I’ve been hoping to get a deposit for my house, so I’m going to keep some aside.”

As a bonus treat, we’ve offered Lisa a Jackpotjoy winner’s trip to London, to stay in a West End hotel and catch a theatre performance of her choice.

“I’ve never been to London. That’s brilliant. I’m excited. Oh my God, yes!”

Eileen K – Diamond Bonanza Winner

Over the years, the popular Diamond Bonanza has made hundreds of our members big Jackpot winners. Eileen K of Greenford, is the latest member of the club, having won just under £70,000!

“I couldn’t believe it when I won. I thought, things like that don’t happen to me! I told my husband and he asked how much it was. When I replied, he had to check that I was sure.”

Eileen soon got celebrations under way, and found that her news was spreading quickly when she went for a drink to mark the occasion.

“I went to the Pub to celebrate and my husband had told everyone. I’ve told a couple of the girls and they’ve said they’ll play now too!”

“It’s incredible. It’s a life changing amount of money. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone!”

“We’ve got good plans for the money. We moved house in March and haven’t had the money to do it up. We’re going to get a new kitchen and a new bathroom. It’s going to mean our house will become a home!”

Bingo Lingo and Chat

Posted by Trix @ 2:41 PM, Tuesday Aug 14th, 2007

Chat rooms are a great way of becoming involved in the community atmosphere that online bingo offers! However, it can be quite off-putting, especially if you have no idea of chat room lingo! Chat lingo is basically abbreviated words used in the essence of speed (less typing is required and less space is taken up in the chat room). In order to help you, we have compiled a short glossary to get you started, but don’t worry, it is actually really easy to pick up! And remember, the chat hosts or masters (CM/CH) are always there to help you out if you need help, as well as the other roomies!

Chat rooms are there for you to chat to friends and family whilst playing the game. They are also useful for comparing how well you are doing compared to other players who are playing the same game. They offer a good social network and are available for all players to join in!

Jackpotjoy has some of the best chat managers. Why not check them out at www.jackpotjoy.com

Bingo and Gambling Addiction

Posted by Trix @ 2:51 AM, Thursday Aug 9th, 2007

Do you think you could be addicted to Bingo gambling? Most people recognise when they have a problem as they are aware of the signs – but many find it too hard to admit to. The following questions will help you to identify whether or not you have a problem: Are you spending more than you can realistically afford on gambling? Do you avoid work, college or school in order to gamble? Do you feel the need to hide your spending from family and friends? Have you stopped purchasing items to fund your gambling? Have you borrowed money to help with gambling expenses? If you have answered yes to the above – it is worth reading further on this matter!

Gambling can be a serious problem for many people. Your family, finances and social activities can all suffer as a result of gambling. The dream of hitting “the big one” is always there – as well as the hope of winning back what you have already lost. Yet in reality, chasing your losses will inevitably end in losing more than you can actually afford. As a result of this, addicts could suffer from lack of sleep, stress and depression. Gambling is an illness – and it is recognised as such by health professionals. There is help available, but you must first of all help yourself by admitting you have a problem. Many gambling sites offer support for this addiction, or you can visit your doctor for help. All services mentioned are free and completely confidential.
